Volunteering at Sacred Heart
Involvement from our Sacred Heart Jr/Sr High School families is critical to the sustainability to our schools. There are so many wonderful benefits to becoming “plugged in” to our school:
Meet new people: Getting involved with events at the school is the easiest way to meet people and foster new friendships for parents and children.
Create an impact: Your contributions, whether big or small, can have a lasting impact on this community. You can inspire others to do the same and have an even bigger impact.
Our mission: Giving of our time, talent and treasure is what we are called to do. We know that by giving of ourselves, we are seeking eternal reward.
Our Sacred Heart Jr/Sr High School Booster Club supports all academic, artistic, and athletic activities that our students are involved in. If you are interested in getting involved at Sacred Heart Jr/Sr High School, consider joining us for Booster Club meetings on the first Wednesday of each month to learn about upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and more!
Other events that we love having family support include: Annual SH Auction: Blue and Gold Affair, Match Madness, Annual Bishop George K. Fitzsimons Memorial Golf Tournament, Raising Saints Annual Fund Phone-A-Thon, and Grandparents and Alumni Weekend. If you are interested in being a part of these events either as a committee leader or event volunteer, please contact hannah.vonlintel@salinacatholic.org!
We will be using Bloomerang Volunteer program to signup and to track volunteer hours. It works similiar to Signup Genius. As always it may take a little time to become familiar with and get around in the program.
