Dear Parents and Guardians,

This Thursday, March 26, our 8th-grade students will have the opportunity to attend the Chrism Mass at Sacred Heart Cathedral. The Mass will begin at 11:30 a.m., and students will travel to and from the Cathedral with school supervision.

Following the Mass, students will go to Oakdale Park to enjoy a pizza luncheon together before returning to school. Pizza will be provided for all students. We expect to arrive back at school at approximately 2:30 p.m.

This is a meaningful experience for our students as they witness this special liturgy and spend time together in fellowship. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the school office.

Join the Booster Club in Celebrating the Girls 2A State Champs

Parents,

We are pleased that Dr. Rachel Carney, and Dr. Mike Ziegler, have agreed to provide KSHSAA school physicals for the next school year. We have also collaborated with Salina Family Healthcare Center and 2 of their physicians will also be doing physicals.

Who: students in grades 6-11 for the next school year.

What: KSHSAA physicals. Students are required to have a signed physical form on file before they can practice or participate in any athletic activity (baseball, basketball, bowling, cheer, cross-country, dance, football, golf, softball, tennis, track and field, volleyball).

When: Thursday April 2, 2026
Where: Sacred Heart Jr-Sr High School.
Cost: $25.00 payable to SHJSHS.

Return KSHSAA to SHJSHS by MONDAY MARCH 30:
1. KSHSAA form completed https://www.kshsaa.org/Public/PDF/FORM-PPE.pdf. Auto filled if done on line or pick one up in the office.
2. Immunization record - get from family doctor

HS Baseball: uniform checkout will be this Friday 3/20 at 10am in coach Hines room. We will also be practicing on Saturday 3/21 at 11am

Spirit Bus- The spirit bus for Saturday, March 14 is on! Please have your child at the school at 9:40am as we are going to load the bus at 9:45 AM and leave ASAP! Let's go Lady Knights, let's finish this thing!

Come out and support the Sacred Heart Booster Club at Wendy's today! Yes, it's Friday but their fish sandwiches are AWESOME!!! Events like this help sponsor all our school activities both academics and athletic, from meals and transportation for Scholars bowl to the uniforms our Lady Knights will be wearing as they play for the State Championship! LADY KNIGHTS BASKETBALL! CONGRATULATIONS ON WINNING THE STATE SEMIFINAL GAME TONIGHT! An anonymous donor would like to cover transportation and entry entry fee for Saturday's STATE TITLE GAME! There will be a sign up in the office on Friday 3/13 from 8 AM to 12 PM. There is a minimum of 30 for the bus to leave, and a max of 50. LET'S GO WIN THIS THING! The bus will load at 9:45 AM on Saturday, March 14!

SH: With the Lady Knights continuing their run in the State Basketball Tournament, school on Thursday, March 12th will again be dismissed at 1:30. Let's Go Lady Knights!

There will be no Track Practice on Thursday or Friday. High School and Junior Track practice will resume next week on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. and Friday at 9:00 a.m.

Spirit Bus: Congrats to the Lady Knights on another Great Win! For the game at Emporia 3/12, there will be another Spirit Bus. Cost will again be $20 each and it will pay for entry and transportation. Students riding the bus will be dismissed at 1:15 to load the bus. Students must sign up in the office by 8 am on Thursday 3/12 by 8 am. GO KNIGHTS!

Parents: The spirit bus will arrive back at Sacred Heart High School at 8:35!

There will be a parent meeting for baseball on 3/11 at 630 in coach Hines room.

Congratulations on qualifying for the KSHSAA State Basketball Tournament!
Please review the attached visitor’s packet, which includes important details, maps, and directions to assist with parking and building entry locations. As you prepare for the tournament, please review the key information below.

Public/Spectators: Northwest (Main) Entrance

Pass Gate (Administrators, Officials, Media, KSHSAA Personnel): South Entrance

Parking on campus is free of charge. Parking areas will be designated as follows:

Lot G (South): School administration, officials, and media

Lot D (Southwest): Team buses and spectator overflow

Lot F (West – Fieldhouse Lot): Spectator parking

Ticketing
Tickets may be purchased in advance online or on-site through GoFan Digital Ticketing. Cash and credit card payments will also be accepted at the gate.

Access to the Fieldhouse will open two hours prior to the first game each day.

Bag Policy

The Fieldhouse will follow a clear bag policy. The following items are permitted:

Clear tote bags not exceeding 12" x 12" x 6"

One-gallon plastic freezer bags

Small clutch purses no larger than 4.5" x 6.5"

No other bags will be allowed inside the Fieldhouse, and items cannot be stored at the gates. Please help us by informing your fans, as they may not be accustomed to a clear bag policy.

There will be NO High School/Junior High Track practice on Tuesday.

Reminder: There will be a JH and HS Track Parent Meeting Today at 5:30 p.m. at SHHS, in the gym or cafeteria.
